Sayed Asif Jah Founder

A Visiting Professor at the prestigious University of Mumbai and teaches Film & TV Production to the PG Students. A Bollywood Film Producer, Have Conceptualized and produced mainstream Hindi feature films 'BAAT BANN GAYI' & 'KUCH LOG', 'London Ke Bandhan' along-with other such content on Video & Film formats, and served leading Indian & International business houses. Started ASR in 1998 and has produced entertainment software for Films and TV. Added more Media related ventures in the ASR Media in the field of Broadband TV Channel Media India TV, and providing Media Education to the rural youths and other Social Activities under his NGO ‘AIMS’. A Journalist turned film maker who has worked with leading Publications and Media Houses of English, Hindi and Urdu languages for over a decade. An Urdu Poet and an Activist, working for Social Causes MR.ASIF IS A PRODUCER, FILMMAKER, VISITING FACULTY-MUMBAI UNIVERSITY AND A CONSENSTIOUS SOCIAL ACTIVIST.

Shuja Ali Founder

Indian film and TV Writer and Director who has done feature films like KUCH LOG&BAAT BANN GAYI along-with many TV Shows, Documentaries, Corporate Films and Advertising Commercials etc. He was honored by “The Locations World Awards 2013” for capturing Singapore beautifully, in his debut film.Shuja Ali started his career as RJ and Producer with All India Radio, Mumbai and later served US incorporated TV Channel ‘ATN’ as its programming head and was based in Kabul, Afghanistan. He was also associated as The Director with path breaking TV Series Fear Files on Zee TV in its inaugural run. Mr.SHUJA ALI HAS WORKED EXTENSIVELY IN TELEVISION AND HAS MADE SEVERAL AD FILMS AND DOCUMENTARIES AS WELL Shuja Ali is currently busy working on his next Hindi feature film with leading Bollywood names, and will be shot in India & abroad later this year.

Kabir Mukesh Kapoor – Academic Head

3 year post graduate diploma holder in Screenplay writing and Direction from the reputed Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata. It is one of the two prestigious film institute’s of India coming under the aegis of the central government of India. Faculty – Whistling Woods International for 3 years. Joined when it was new and played a key role in streamlining the two year filmmaking programme. Wrote produced and directed short films which won several accolades around the world including ‘Bollywood and Beyond film festival Stuttgart(now called Indian film festival), Germany and One country One film festival , Apchat, France. He has designed curriculums and set up film schools all over India.

Saikat Bose– Art Direction Mentor

In his own words-“After working for 6 years in different advertising agencies , I came into and associated myself with film - making mainly due to my love for film , which I consider is the most complete form of ART. I had joined as the assistant to the Art Directors Mr. Narendra Rahurikar and Mr. Sumit Basu . Up till today, in my journey of almost 14 years, my experiences from a number of films and TVCs , have helped me to acquire some cinematic sensibilities, which I think , I can contribute to a Film Maker as a Production Designer”. He has done several ad films like Parle Krack Jack,SBI,Aircel,Ching Masala. He has worked as an art director on films like Gangs of Wasseypur,as production designer on Khiladi 786 and Sanam Teri Kasam.He has worked as an associate art director on Naach,Golmal,Golmal3 ,Sunday and 3 Idiots.

Hemang vyas – Acting Mentor

An alumnus of National School of Drama, master of theater arts from University of Mumbai. Experience of eighteen years in the field of acting. He has conducted many acting workshops all over India,. He has directed twenty five one act plays and 4 full length plays. He has acted in one twenty four one act plays & ninety five full length plays. Currently acting in Sanjay Dutt biopic directed by Raju Hirani . As lead in Gujarati film ‘Ababbil’ and working on an adaptation of highly acclaimed Broadway play ‘the play that goes wrong’-a Sharman Joshi production. Awards-: Sangeet Natak academy – best actor award .Chitralekha-best actor, best director awards.

Sanjay Chaturvedi – Sound Mentor

Sanjay is a post-graduate diploma holder in sound design from Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute Kolkata. His feature films credit as sound designer include –Noor,Prague,Jugni,Saat uccchakey,Satra ko shaadi hai,3G . Some of his films as a sync sound recordist are Gentleman ,Dishoom,Shanghai,Kai Po che. He has worked as dialogue editor on films like Zindagi na milegi dobara, Rock on, Taare zameen par, Om shanti Om, Delhi 6 and Wake up Sid. He has won an Apsara award for best sound design for Shanghai and won the Sound Association Award (SAI) for best sync sound for the same film. He has conducted workshops on sound design, sync sound recording & dialogue editing at F.T.I.I. Pune and S.R.F.T.I. Kolkata.

Rupesh Kumar – Cinematography Mentor

A skilled cinematographer, humanistic writer and filmmaker from India. Along with graduating from Magadh university in 1995, he completed Prabhakar in music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, diploma in painting from Pracheen kala Kendra and a course in television production from Notredam communication and in 1997 he joined a reputed film school in India called Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, where he got to learn cinematography under the legendry cinematographer Mr. Subrata Mitra. After completing post graduation in Cinema from SRFTI in 2000, he settled in Mumbai and is constantly working for various national and international films and broadcast TV projects as Cinematographer. He has shot a feature film called JHALKI as DOP and been part of crew for films like Sanskar, Abar asbo phire, By chance, Chocolate, Darna zaruri hai, The living ghost & Sunday etc. He has shot several fiction and non-fiction TV projects like Apni tuning jamegi, Saregama, T-10 Gully cricket, Iss jungle se Mujhe bachhao, Pogo amazing kids, TV soaps like Kashmakash, Kasauti zindagi ki, Kasak, Sasural genda phool, dastaan, Teri meri love story and Gustakh dil for channels like Star plus, Sony, DD, Zee and Life ok etc.

DR.Qasim Imam – Urdu Diction Mentor

Dr. Qasim Imam is HOD -Urdu at Burhani college of arts & commerce, Mumbai. He is ex-chairman Board of studies University of Mumbai. Ex member secretary Maharashtra Urdu State Academy. Executive editor-Gul Hote (monthly).He is also a visiting faculty in the department of Urdu , Mumbai University. He is a published guide for PhD scholars. He is a renowned poet with half a dozen books to his credit. He has been part of Mushairas all over the world. Several renowned Bollywood personalities have studied Urdu under his guidance.

Suhail Baghdadi– VFX & Digital Media Mentor

Suhail Baghdadi has a Training Experience of more than 15 years, he has trained various corporate for IT technology including Consulate General Of Saudi Arab, Suhail has started his career as a designer with UTV later joined sony television for Graphics Animation and Special Effect for Serials like Aahat and CID, He was also a part of Guiness Record Team For Shooting a 111 minute one shot episode for CID.
